During our internship at Sirus, we worked wholeheartedly on the Lego City project. Both the hardware and software aspects of the Lego City were tackled, equipping it with streetlights, traffic lights, air quality sensors, sound sensors, temperature sensors, waste bin sensors, parking sensors, as well as waste collection and traffic prediction programs.

June was a month full of interesting events. Towards the end of June, we were present at the ‘Gebruikersdag Smart Data‘ organized by Digitaal Vlaanderen.

Last month, I – Greet – had the opportunity to represent Sirus at the FIWARE Global Summit along with some of my colleagues.

A few days ago, I had the privilege of attending Techorama 2023. This two-day event took place at Kinepolis Antwerp, and to my delight, several of my colleagues were also present.

Techorama 2023 was an extraordinary conference that provided the perfect blend of delicious catering, opportunities to connect with colleagues, and engaging sessions on a wide range of topics.

In spring, IT professionals gather at Kinepolis Antwerp for two days filled with interesting talks, networking with fellow IT experts, and delightful catering.

Throwback to our staff meeting last week. There was food, there were drinks, amazing company, and a handful of interesting insights.

What started out as a bold marketing campaign for Sirus and a possibility for grown-up children like us to live a dream, turned out to be a tremendous success for both parties. Follow our journey to NASA in our new blog post.
