Welcome Pascal!

What a great way to kick off this new year. On January 3rd, Pascal Desmet joined Sirus as a .NET Consultant. And it’s safe to say Pascal is off to a great start – as he will immediately continue his work at the customer. Although we have to admit about 85% of Sirus was still enjoying some (holi)days off, Pascal was welcomed by Jochen on Monday with the usual Sirus warm welcome.

Who is Pascal?

Pascal is an experienced .NET Developer with over 25 years of experience in the field. This is valuable knowledge brought to the Sirus competence table! Next to his assignment at the customer, he will also assist one of the Sirus interns starting in februari throughout his assignment.

“I would call myself an atypical nerd. I love IT (development) and I also adore sports. Unfortunately, because of knee problems, I need to limit the latter to walking with my dog (a Spanish Water Dog who helps me when programming). I am married and proud dad of 2 not-kids-anymore kids. I love humor and can laugh about litterally anything – but not with everything of course. Overall, I’d say – I look like Droopy, but I behave like Jim Carry!”

To the question – why did you choose Sirus, Pascal is clear: “The opportunity to work on projects in a diversity of business and technologies and to be flanked by experienced colleagues from whom I can get a lot of support and also learn from”.
